I have been reading through all the messages coming in and the stories about personal choice are just so incredibly moving to me. It really makes me think about how much we have been pushed aside in these discussions despite being the ones who actually have to live with these decisions every single day. We are still working on getting a response from the board about this proposal so please just hang in there while I sort through all these messages.

I am honestly a bit overwhelmed by the messages I am getting from women who just want to be left alone to exist as they are. It really feels like people are finally listening to our side of the story instead of assuming someone is pulling our strings behind the scenes. This is way bigger than I ever thought it would get but I am so incredibly thankful for the movement we have built together somehow.

i wear it because i choose to and nobody forced me. stop acting like you know what is best for us.
my life my choice. dont tell me how to practice my faith when you know nothing about it.
Ridiculous proposal. Canada is supposed to be about freedom and this is just plain harassment.
Freedom of religion actually means freedom to wear what you want. Leave these women alone.
its not up to them to decide what i wear on my face. let women have their own choice.
