Chobham Village and Fairoaks Airport need your support.

Greedy developers want to close down what is almost the last small airfield in Surrey and turn it into yet another housing estate.

Consultation with the public starts this Friday and Saturday at Chobham Village Hall.

1500 homes are planned to start with, this could result in around 3000 more cars on our roads.

Fairoaks is home to an abundance of flora and fauna and simply filling in the grassy gaps to join up conurbations makes for one big urban area eventually, whatever they tell you.

Longcross is only a stones throw away and has just been given Garden Village status by the government. Surely we don't need another one next door?

Fairoaks has many small business' with the majority of employees working within aviation related business. Consequently, if the airport were to close there would be huge job losses.

The developer mentions in the initial proposal that Fairoaks Airport is loss making. This simply isn't true.
