The NHS have announced plans from April to stop funding 25 life prolonging cancer drugs for those with advanced cancers. This will affect more than 8,000 people on them now and countless people not yet diagnosed. This could be you or your friends and family needing these drugs. Imagine that situation you are told the devastating news that I you have advanced cancer, there is drug that could help, but the NHS won't supply it.
I was faced with that exact situation, my son Nick was diagnosed with kidney cancer aged 23 and the drug he needed was not available on the NHS. It cost £4,000 a month and we had to raise that or watch him die. What would you do in that situation? How would you find the money to help a loved one live? Let's stop this situation now.
WE WANT NO RESTRICTIONS ON CANCER DRUGS.
