It is commonly known that music censorship is the practice of controlling and banning certain ideas or words involved with obscenities in a society. The problem is, no one really knows what an obscenity is. One hears a vulgar word or phrase considered offensive and are immediately insulted, but no rationale exists. Music is made for expression and enhancement; not to ruin someone’s day. Although in some cases, there is no valid reason for the implementation of music censorship. Lyrics are usually victims of music censorship because they are often mistaken for participating in offensive and stereotypical behavior. We need to take stand against these misinterpretations!
