Late start days reduce the total number of full student attendance days and take instruction time away from our children.
We are requesting that the Board and the District employ other means to give teachers the collaboration time they require for the Advanced Learning Plan. We can have differentiated learning and teacher collaboration for the new curriculum without late start days and without taking instruction time away from our children.
If you oppose taking instruction time away from our children, then sign this petition and say NO to late start days for the 2013-2014 school year!

Ridiculous. Teachers should find time during their contract day not eat into the hours our kids actually need to be in class learning.
What about working parents? My schedule is already a mess trying to get them to school. This is just gonna make it worse for everyone.
Kids lose enough days as it is. Let's keep them in the classroom where they belong.
NO LATE STARTS. Stop messing with the schedule. My kids are already behind because of the curriculum changes. Keep the full days!
This is so unfair to parents. We rely on those start times for work. Please listen to us for once!!!
