To: Minister for Justice, Honourable Simon Power We, the undersigned, are petitioning you as Minister for Justice to deny David Bain's application for compensation for the time he spent imprisoned for the murder convictions of his five family members in Dunedin, 1994. We believe that despite his recent acquittal and the implied reasonable doubt as to his guilt arising from that trial, the evidence points to David Bain being responsible for these murders.
