Tell the Tarrytown Planning Board: KFC plan doesn't work for Tarrytown
We, the undersigned, oppose the conversion of 124 Wildey Street (currently Dollar Dream) to a Kentucky Fried Chicken and all proposed alteration to the existing road layout and traffic pattern that this would require both inside and outside the plaza. It is our opinion that this proposal does not meet Village of Tarrytown code regarding a variety of concerns including environmental, functional, aesthetic and socioeconomic impact. We urge the Planning Board to scrutinize, among other things, pedestrian rights-of-way, ADA compliance, proposed idle-heavy drive-thru lane's proximity to Reverend Sykes Park, lack of capacity to accommodate the refuse removal needs of current tenants, disruption of access to the adjacent Westchester Bee-Line bus stop, and exacerbation of traffic flow disorder at the intersection of Wildey Street, Central Avenue, and Valley Street.
