No more cuts for Marylanders with Disabilities!
Since Maryland's 2009 budget crisis has started, people with developmental disabilities have withstood sweeping, deep cuts to their services, including residential, job support, respite, and resource coordination. The effects of these cuts will have immediate and long term unforseen consequences to the health and well being of Marylanders with disabilities. It's time we tell Governor O'Malley that people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Maryland have taken their fair share of budget cuts and ask him to not make future cuts to the funding of the Developmental Disabilities Administration, providers, and resource coordination. If you agree that Marylanders with disabilities can't withstand any more cuts to vital services, please sign this petition!
