No Used Cars in Wooster Square
An atrocity is currently at hand in one of New Haven's most treasured historic areas. The Board of zoning appeals approved permission for a used car lot to open on 10 Olive street directly across the street from an elderly care residence and 500 feet away from a school. (Pictures to the right) To add to this shameful approval, Olive Street is one of the gateways to Wooster Square, a historic and important part of New Haven's great heritage. We need to stop this from actually happening. A number of Wooster Square residents banned together and persuaded the zoning review board to take a second look at this approval. As a result of this show of support against this idea, the committee tabled signing off on the proposed car lot. We need your support. Please e-sign this petetion. Beter yet come to the meeting om April 23rd at City Hall at 6:45 pm and make your voice heard. Go to www.nousedcars.com for mre information. Thanks Andy Ross
