ملف ازمة الطاقة في الاردن آن الآوان لفتحه على مستوى وطني واعادة النظر في الاستراتيجية الوطنية للطاقة حيث ان ازمة الطاقة لاتحتمل ترف المشروع النووي ولا تنتظر تحقيقه وملف مشروع النووي لا يحتمل اي خطأ او قرار عشوائي  ومع قناعتنا انه يمكننا في الاردن  حل مشكلة الطاقة دون تعرضنا لخطر النووي وتبعاته  ولدينا الامكانيات اللازمة لذلك نحن الموقعين ادناه ندعو الى مايلي: 1-التحقيق في اجراءات المشروع النووي منذ بدايته.2-دراسة جدوى اقتصادية للمشروع ومدى حقيقة مساهمته في حل ازمة الطاقة في الاردن ودراسة الاثر البيئي للمشروع. 3-وقف الاجراءات التي اعلن عنها الى حين تحقيق ماورد اعلاه. 4-اقالة مدير هيئة الطاقة الذرية لفشله في ادارة هذا المشروع والعشوائية والتخبط وتضارب المعلومات التي ترافقه. 5- تشكيل لجنة خبراء الطاقة في الاردن. 6-الدعوة لعقد مؤتمر وطني لدراسة استراتيجية جديدة للطاقة وتقديم حلول قابله للتطبيق .7- نرفض اي قرارات غير مدروسة لرفع اسعار الكهرباء تزيد من اعباء المواطنين.

It is time that the issue of energy security and deficiency be addressed for Jordanians on a national scale. The Jordanian Energy Strategy issued in 2004 and revised in 2007 has to be revised again since the current lack of national energy resources cannot include the nuclear option that needs tens of years to become operational nor any mistakes or any not well studied decision.

We are definite that Jordan can secure its energy foreign dependence by national resources without being exposed to the dangers of nuclear energy. Therefore, we the undersigned, call for the following:

1-      1-Start legal investigation in the procedures of the Jordanian nuclear project and from its start.

2-      1- Insist on issuing an economic feasibility study, and the environmental impact assessment as per Jordanian Law, and to see if there is any proof that nuclear will solve the energy problem of Jordan.

3-      2- The immediate stopping of all procedures and process of the nuclear project until the above is investigated.

4-      3-The immediate resignation of the managers of the Jordanian Atomic Energy Commission for their mismanagement and misleading information about this project.

5-      4- The formation of a national committee of energy experts.

6-      5- The call for a national congress for studying energy security and strategy for the sake of receiving applicable solutions.

7-      6- The rejection of hasty not well studied increase in electricity tariff which will raise the burdens on Jordanian citizens.
