The undersigned supporters of Senator Barack Obama concur that under no condition in the US Presidential election in November 2008, will we cast a vote for any candidate other than Barack Obama as President. We urge Senator Obama to resist pressure to accept any nomination that is not one of Commander-in-Chief. Senator Obama will have the support of our new majority regardless of who he picks as his running mate. We also urge Senator Obama to run as an Independent in the general election in the event that he does not gain the Democratic Presidential nomination.
