Please sign and share this petition everywhere in an effort to get MA to offer help and treatment for drug-addicted moms rather than throwing them in jail to give birth, this ends up putting the mother and child in danger. Nothing is resolved by throwing a new mom in jail, this does not help their addiction or their child!

Keep them together so they can actually get clean. Jail just makes everything worse for the baby and the mom.
This is so sad. how is a jail cell gonna help a new mom struggling with addiction? they need support not punishment.

THESE WOMEN NEED REHAB NOT A CELL. FIX THE SYSTEM!
