Each year thousands of  children are injured as pedestrians and dozens more are killed  while getting on or off their school bus. 

      Operation STOP Arm is asking for your signatures in support of a safer bus stop for the children of Georgia. Other states are already taking action to reduce the number of stop arm violations in their states, and it is time Georgia follows suit. ______________________________

We are petitioning the Georgia Legislature to create and pass a law which would require cameras on all school buses in this state to capture Stop Arm violations, amend current laws to make Stop Arm penalties enforceable, and implement a state-wide Operation Stop Arm marketing campaign to educate and awaken motorists to the dangers of illegally passing school buses. ______________________________
