We asserted that responsibility for inhibiting transmission of coronavirus should still be left to individuals
The state of Missouri has not shown wearing a mask will stop the spread of COVID-19, and has not shown a mandate is necessary
Mask mandates violates our individual’s right to privacy, religious freedom, right to speech, due process, equal protection under the law. Is an invasion of our physical autonomy
This mandate is an example of the government trying to infringe on civil liberties and to exert control of the people.

I do not agree with forcing citizens to wear masks especially when there is such controversy over the real, factual evidence that masks even work. I can decide on my own when and where I need to wear a mask. This is government overreach of power.
Drop the ban . Not only is it unconstitutional, but it will do more physical harm than good to those wearing . And on top of that, the city will be losing tax money because people will go elsewhere that doesn't have a ban to do their business.
Masks harm more then help. As per CDC guidelines we are to change the surgical masks every 20-30 minutes or else we risk to get sick from them because of the accumulated bacteria. A mandate for masks is more about power control then health safety.
I strongly oppose a government mandate to make wearing a mask in public a legal requirement. All this will do is further the division and distrust between government and citizens as well as create greater animosity among the citizens towards each other.
Masks are not the answer. I already wear one daily since I work in a nursing home ...and Breathing my own air makes me feel horrible every day. My RA is no longer controlled....I am in pain every day. Masks are NOT the answer.
This mask mandate in schools is absurd. My child will not be forced to wear a mask based on biased and incomplete data. This is in violation of our basic rights and I for one will not go quietly.
The mask mandate needs to end. If you feel more comfortable around the public with a mask on then that is what you should do but if you are opposed to wearing the mask then you should also have that choice. We do still have rights...right? I would never tell someone they could not wear a mask just as someone should not tell me that I have to wear a mask. Makes no sense when you can go to other cities who do not have a mask mandate and their Covid cases are not any higher and sometimes lower than places that tell you to wear a mask to enter a business.

This should be personal choice. 'You' don't get a flu shot for me, you get it for you, so stop trying to sell me that you wear a mask for me. This is personal choice, I respect your space, so there's no need to mandate what I do.
