I want to join in the movement to stop the establishment of a new waste facility in Wheatfield as proposed by the Quasar Energy Group of Ohio. Wheatfield does not need any more of these facilities. This is close to residential areas where families and kids play and right near the Niagara River. Money should not come before our health and safety!
The momentum is undeniable. Wheatfield is speaking up and they finally have to listen.

Why is Wheatfield the dumping ground for everything. From brownfields to Love Canal. If this Quasar project is allowed I will certainly be moving out of this town for good without any hesitation.

It might have been a good idea if the board members, along with the town attorney read the contract prior to approving the site. after all as MR Cliffe stated he works for the residents of Wheatfield., Mr. Cliffe seems to think the end product is quality and safe fertilizer, He's neither a biologist nor a chemist.

Honestly, whose pockets are getting lined here? Why don't they just buy our houses at fair market value and make this one big dump instead of putting residents health in jeopardy! These officials should be ashamed of themselves. Do any of them live near here?

I work across the street from this place and at times it reeks so bad I can't take it. And it's not fair when I'm stuck there for 8 plus hours.

I have lived by the River for close to 15 yrs, I can't even keep a garden or flowers going because of the crap buried in the "soil "around my house! Do the Politicos even remember Love Canal? Please don't mess up this town anymore

This is insulting to a region that has worked hard to reverse the mistakes of the past. It is not ok to bring waste in to the vicinity of a family community.
