A couple of days ago, OSSD Tech admins removed the "Themes" option from Gmail on all devices logged into an email under the school domain. This has upset many students, as the current Light theme is very bright and strains many students' eyes. This theme also makes it difficult for students to read emails, especially for those who already experience impaired vision.

Dear OSSD,

As students who rely on Gmail to keep up with school information, especially during these times, we do not approve of this change. We ask that you please revert these changes and allow us to customize our backgrounds. If the initial main concern was inappropriate background imagery, simply allow us to use the default Chrome themes or allow us to at least select the "Dark theme" so our eyes aren't strained when we are using our Chromebooks for classwork.
