This petition has been set up to get the BBC to release Over The Rainbow on DVD. Currently they are saying that they will not release it due to a lack of interest. However, viewing figures of the series from YouTube and other areas suggest that this is untrue. Several contestants have very strong fanbases--for example the Danielle Hope appreciation thread on Digital Spy is nearing part 4 despite being on part 2 when the show ended, showing the interest is still there. This is just one example of an active fanbase. There are several groups on Facebook, Twitter and again on Digital Spy, not to mention the fan forums for various contestants set up by fans.

Over the Rainbow is a highly rated, critically acclaimed series that deserves to be released on DVD.  Please sign the petition and alert your friends if you agree. Thanks."
