Our children deserve to have a safe entrance and exit to the school. As parents, we feel that the current gravel parking lot at Tricon Elementary is hazardous and inconvenient. There are several pot holes, the area becomes difficult to navigate during weather and poses risks for slips and falls. Snow and ice conditions make it even more treacherous.
A paved parking lot would provide a safer environment for everyone who visits the school. It would also improve accessibility for individuals with mobility issues and ensure that vehicles can enter and exit smoothly without causing damage or injury.

The administration has acknowledged the volume of interest regarding the Tricon Elementary parking project. I have requested a formal meeting with the school board facilities committee to present these signatures and discuss the paving timeline. Expect a report once the meeting details are confirmed.

The parking lot is a severe safety hazard and is even worse in the winter (a complete skating rink that cannot controlled due to the fact it is not paved).
Please pave the parking lot. It certainly needs to be done. Potholes. Unsafe for students, staff and the public.
The parking lot is full of potholes, and when it rains or snows (often) it gets so muddy. All that dirt is being tracked into the school and becomes work for someone.
This needs to be done! Would also improve safety during school concerts and plays!

My car suspension is taking a beating every time I drop the kids off. Not to mention how dangerous it is for elderly grandparents trying to walk across that mess. Way past time for asphalt.
