Oust COMELEC Commissioner Nicodemo Ferrer Now! Support Gov.Ed Panlilio and Gov. Grace Padaca! Our Filipino icons of genuine change, reform,good governance and ethical leadership are now being removed from power by this present administration led by President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo and COMELEC Commissioner Nicodemo Ferrer. Today, the 2nd division of the Commission on Elections led by Commissioner Nicodemo Ferrer has ruled to unseat Isabela Gov. Grace Padaca due to her alleged involvement in electoral fraud in the 2007 elections. How can Gov. Padaca, a 2008 Ramon Magsaysay Awardee for Government Service (acknowledged as equivalent to the Nobel Peace Prize in Asia), a polio victim who needs crutches to walk with no financial resources and political machinery be capable of cheating or electoral fraud Last week, this same division in the COMELEC led again by Ferrer unseated Bulacan Gov. Jonjon Mendoza right after he decided to leave the ruling administration party in favor of the Liberal Party of Senators Noynoy Aquino and Mar Roxas. By the end of the week, this same COMELEC division led again by Ferrer will also come out with a decision unseating priest turned Pampanga Governor Among Ed Panlilio due to same allegations of electoral fraud and cheating hurled by his political opponent, former Board Member Lilia Pineda. Again, how can a priest of 25 years,a neophyte politician without money and machinery cheat his main opponent in the last 2007 elections when his main opponent is the wife of the alleged Jueteng lord in Pampanga and a very close ally of the sitting President Panlilio, Padaca and Mendoza are all members of the opposition Liberal Party which has been highly-critical of the present Arroyo administration. Filipinos all over the world need to act now! We need to bring back respect, decency and dignity in our country! We need to rally behind and support good, morally-upright and effective leaders like Gov. Panlilio and Gov. Padaca! We need to work together to oust corrupt government officials who use their abuse their powers to advance their own self interests such as COMELEC Commissioner Nicodemo Ferrer! We need to act now!
