The singer Lhasa de Sela passed away on January 1st, 2010. She was 37 years old. We would like to honour her memory by naming a currently nameless park after her, which is situated at the heart of her beloved neighbourhood in which she spent her final years. Her undeniable talent, the power of her songs and performances and her authenticity all contributed greatly to the blossoming of an incredible artistic community, and with the help of this park, her memory will serve to inspire generations to come.
