We are presenting this petition to the council on Tuesday 19th March alongside residents from Stamner Park Villas who are also asking for a consultation on the being added to parking Zone G. Thanks for all your support. If the council don't agree we will continue to ask for consultation until we are granted that.
The momentum behind this is undeniable. People are finally tired of the parking chaos.

The parking situation on Hollingdean Terrace is awful, the older residents and the ones with children often have to park several streets away, and the cars are so tightly parked they're often scratched and dangerously parked on the corners of roads.

Sadly, the time has come for a residents parking scheme but for all of Hollingdean, not just a few streets. I live in Stanmer Villas which has a similar problems after 4pm since the Fiveways restrictions came in especially with trade vehicles and camper vans.

On Upper Hollingdean Rd we are literally an island of no permits. We have 2 small children and have to park as far away as Dudley Rd. We will be literally stuffed for parking if these roads get permitted and we don't.

Not only is it difficult to park outside my house which is built for the disabled but people park incredibly dangerously on the corners of the road. Counsel workers park there and so do pub goers. The road is used for labourers to park their vans over night even though they live on rugby road.

I lived on Roedale Road 12 years ago as a student and have recently moved back again. The parking now is absolutely terrible and makes life difficult with a young baby. This must change as it is unacceptable as it is.

I live on Roedale Road me and my husband do 12 hour shifts. Trying to get a parking in the mornings and evening is a nightmare. Vans, campervan. Non - residents parking. And getting on the bus. I have to sometimes park 3 roads away. I think it’s about time we had permits holders only.
