The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc., Phoenix Metropolitan Chapter is advocating for the passage of Arizona House Bill 2593 to prohibit discrimination against any individual because of the individual's protective hairstyle, race, or ethnicity in workplaces or schools in Arizona. We believe in creating a respectful and open world for natural hair. Black women and girls should be should not be subjected to discrimination for showing up as their authentic selves.
