I personally know the principal, and I know she didn't mean what she said when she said it. She has a lot of respect for a lot of people, and there is not one bone in my body that believes she ment it in that mannor.

The men raising the flag on Iwo Jima were not to busy , if you as a leader of a school are to busy to respect our nations flag your too busy to be in our schools and not wanted there i cant imagine our children being lead by someone that teachs them disrespect for our nations flag

i dont think she should be fired,but i think she owes an apology for disrespecting the symbol that allows her to be free and have the freedom of choosing a job that you r suppose to be a leader and uphold a higher standard because u are a school principal!

I don't think the woman needs to be fired. If so you may as well fire the whole faculty and student body! Not one of them did a damn thing about the flag. Instead I would have them all attend a class on flag etiquette To learn how to properly raise, lower and care for e flag.

I went to this school and this would have never been acceptable. At minimum this principle should be suspended without pay for a time. If she is too busy to take some time to handle a issue like this, she probably is too busy to handle the children attending school there.

Teach and show respect to each other and our country and flag. Every school in patterson has Boy Scouts in their school, ask them to step up and do a flag ceremony during morning announcements and retiring the flag in the afternoon while everyone is getting ready to go home! How hard is that!!?
