Tanglewood Trail is a road commonly used not just by the residents of the street itself, but by neighbors from several of the surrounding streets (Cottage Place, Gates Avenue, Homestead Road and Dunbridge Lane) for various activities. As a flat cul de sac, the street provides a safe place to walk, run, etc. enjoyed by all. However, due to the current condition of the road, at this time, unfortunately it is not the safe place it could be for children and others to come to learn to ride a bike, skateboard, scooter, rollerblade or other similar activity. The road is full of pot holes and cracks with numerous failed patchwork that has degraded to nearly cover the road with gravel which would/has caused severe road rash when fallen on. This petition serves to alert/remind the Township of Long Hill of the need to pave Tanglewood Trail, but also to show that the benefit of maintaining this road would extend well beyond just those who live on the road to a broader group of the Township's Residents.
