FHU athletes essentially take a PE course every semester while attending school. Most of the teams have practice, if not everyday, multiple times a week. With a required PE course, athletes run the risk of compromising their performance in their collegiate career sport, not to mention the difficulty in trying to fit the course in a schedule without conflicting with practice.

When talking to FHU Alumni on the issue, each individual saw the course as a ridiculous requirement, and few stated that the only PE course they had to take in school was Lifetime Wellness.
