Petition demanding action from the FEC to determine if Congressman Frank Guinta illegally funded his campaign!

To the FEC:
We, the undersigned citizens, respectfully request that you bring to resolution a four year MUR (Matter Under Review) concerning Frank Guinta, Congressman for New Hampshire’s First District.
Two separate complaints, filed by Republican Christopher Wolfe and the NH Democratic Party, inquired about the source and existence of a "forgotten" bank account of up to $500,000. Mr. Guinta contributed or loaned his campaign significant sums of money (in the end totaling $355,000). A local newspaper asked Mr. Guinta about these loans in July, 2010, and 12 days later, he filed an amendment that added a personal bank account of up to $500,000 that Mr. Guinta said he'd "forgotten."
The people of New Hampshire and the United States deserve to know who is telling the truth. Only you can tell them if Congressman Guinta is innocent or if he broke the law, and then lied repeatedly when he claimed the FEC exonerated him. He asserted during an October 29, 2014 televised debate on WMUR that his opponent was the one lying; that, and we quote, "The FEC, in December of 2010, a month after the election, and before I was even sworn into office, said that I was exonerated, that I was in full compliance." He told his opponent he ran a television ad calling her a liar because "you're lying about my record, and people of New Hampshire ought to know the truth."
We agree. The people of New Hampshire ought to know the truth, and they have waited long enough. We urge you to bring this case to resolution.

We just hit 250 signatures and the FEC cannot ignore us for much longer. Guinta thinks he can hide behind a forgotten bank account story while we keep demanding actual accountability.

Until this matter of Mr. Guinta "loaning" himself this huge sum of money is cleared up, doubt and suspicion will continue as to his integrity.
How do you go from unable to pay your electric bill and getting shut off to overlooking half a million dollars because you have so much personal funding inside of a year?
The FEC appears to be promoting illegal campaign actions by foot-dragging its legal investigative responsibilities for the past four years
All the FEC has to do is demand Mr. Guintas bank record. He cliams the money was in his own account. Just prove it one way or the other once and for all please.
Mr. Guinta has repeatedly asserted he has been cleared of campaign violations, yet the FEC's official response disputes Mr. Guinta's assertions, reporting, instead, it has an ongoing investigation yet to be resolved.
NH citizens need to know the truth about our hope to be elected and elected politicians.

Not only has Mr. Guinta broken the law, what might be worse is that his actions feed into the attitude of skepticism that paints all politicians as corrupt and reinfoces people not participating in the process of their own governance. Get rid of him NOW!
