Glyncoed Primary school is not communicating very well with Parents.
Over the past few years there have been a lot of issues and Parents
want to speak to the Governors and discuss matters related to our Children’s school.
Some matters Parents would like to speak about are:
- Glyncoed Primary School’s communication and relationship with parents and our local community.
- How the school handles our complaints
- The plans for building, renovation and repair works at the school.
Under section 94 of the School Standards and Organisation (Wales) Act 2013, parents have the right to meet with their children’s school governing body.
In order to call a meeting we must have:
- Petition signatories of over 30 parents per registered pupil.
- The meeting must be for the purpose of discussing matters relating to the school
- No more than 3 of these meetings can be held per school year
- There must be at least 25 schools days left to hold the meeting
