We, the Applied Quantitative Research graduate students, sign this petition requesting a new lab instructor for our Applied Quantitative Analysis II course held during the Spring 2015 semester.
The lab component of Applied Quantitative Analysis I course was to teach us the fundamentals of using Stata, a software essential to our master's thesis due in six months.
Our experiences during the Fall 2014 semester with the lab instructor, Jonathan Bearak, are reasons why I am signing this petition. We are dissatisfied and know this lab component are not up to the Department of Sociology, the GSAS or NYU's standards.
