Aim of the Petition

1. Request the removal/skipping of the year back requirement for KTU 2023 and 2022 batch students (as they are the last 2019 scheme bacth)
2. If removal of the year back requirement is not possible, ensure that supplementary exams attempted in Semester 4 (S4) and Semester 6 (S6) are considered for progression, as their results are often released after the new semester begins.

Students of KTU are facing challenges due to the year back system and delays in supplementary exam results, which affect academic progression.

By signing this petition, you request the Vice Chancellor of KTU to take the following actions:

• Removal of the year back requirement for the 2023 and 2022 batch students. If this is not feasible, ensure that supplementary exams attempted in S4 and S6 are taken into consideration for progression.
