We the undersigned believe that for far too long classes at this school been insufficient in meeting our needs. Primarily, the issue that there is no big event at the end of class to signify that class is over. With out a big demonstrative display of conclusion, it is hard to tell that class is over and everyone just stays sitting in their seats, looking around like a bunch of big dumb idiots. We propose that every professor, at the conclusion of a day of class be required to boisterously announce "Class dismissed! Bring in the dancing lobsters!" (like on the hit 90's television program: The Amanda Show), at which point 4 paid actors dressed as lobsters (at least 6'6") will dance into the classroom to exuberantly, yet tastefully remind everyone that class has come to an end and that we can go home. I am so sick of sitting in lecture only to have my mother call because I didn't show up for dinner. At which point I realize that class ended 3 hours ago, but had no idea because there were no dancing lobsters to tell me. We as a class deserve better.
