The slightest token of our community's appreciation for Coach Bobby C. Watson, would be to name the new Hoxie School gym in his name. Words cannot justify the gratitude for the time and devotion that Coach has invested in this world, but particularly the school's athletic department. Coach Bobby C. Watson devoted 20 years of service to the Hoxie School District not only as a Coach but also a teacher. He restarted the football program and girls’ basketball program, while also taking the track program to a new level. His many awards and championships are too numerous to name, but his greatest accomplishment is evident in the lives of so many student athletes he mentored who used his guidance to find success in life. On this basis, we, the undersigned, respectfully request the Hoxie School Board name the new Hoxie School gym after Coach Bobby C. Watson.
