This petition is designed to show support to the NM Real Estate Commission that we would like the instructor course approval fee to be waved for all courses that have been previously vetted and approved by national professional organizations (i.e. NARPM, IREM, Apartment Association, etc.). We were asked by the RE Commission to create solutions for our industry and to raise the bar for property management. Education is a large part of the need. We do not want to hamper the efforts by the imposed fee of $70 per class. There are more than 30 courses that have been sent through for approval and there will be more to come. This serves to help remedy the issue of the lack of current CE approved courses available in property management.
