We, the biology and biochemistry pre-medical students, are willing to bring attention to a critical issue affecting the fairness and transparency of the USEK medical school application process. We believe the issue hinders the equal opportunity for qualified the students to pursue their medical carriers careers:

1) Lack of clarity and timing of the placement test:
students should be informed well in advance about the requirement of a placement test, including its content and structure. This test should not be scheduled without proper notice, especially during a time when students are preparing for midterm and final exam.Moreover ,the ongoing war creates an unsuitable atmosphere making it difficult to be well prepared for such an important test . And without forgeting the one month internship that needs to be completed in January. The lack of a clarity and short notice places unnecessary stress on the students and impacts their ability to perform to their best potential .
We demand :
-The postponement of the placement test due to it insufficient notice
-Set of an early registration based on the students GPA, followed by a late registration, relying on the placement test.
-The establishment of equal treatment for all pre-medical students in the selection process based solely on their academic achievements, extracurricular activities, and interview’s performance.

By addressing these issues ,USEK can ensure a fair and transparent application process that evaluates candidates based on their qualifications and readiness for medical school.
