We, the Cornwall College Class of 2020 are trying to persuade the board to plan a graduation for us. The plan would be to use the Office Field to stage the event, still engaging in social distancing. The proposed date for the graduation is August 23, 2020, seeing that they would need time to get things sorted. We are requesting your signature to add to our petition to show the board that majority of the populace are yearning to experience graduation and all its perks.

I have submitted a formal proposal to the board office detailing the use of the Office Field for our event. We are currently waiting for a response from the administration regarding the safety protocols required for this venue.

The volume of support has reached a level where the college board must acknowledge our proposal for the Office Field event. I am preparing a formal request for a meeting with the administration to present our safety protocols and site plan.

This marks the start of the adult life, a special moment in the there 5 years of Cornwall College. Even if it's a small short graduation, let them bask in the moment as is. It'll be a ray of light in this covid time.
Cornwall College has a tradition of excellence that has been embedded in history, never to be forgotten. A few years ago, Cornwall's graduation was trending on social media because of the school leavers item and also the speaker that delivered the keynote address. It is only fitting that this graduating class get to enjoy and embrace the celebratory atmosphere that a Valedictory Service brings; an atmosphere that says, "even though I've been faced with a mountain, I have overcome!"
As a former Cornwallian who attended two valedictory service, I think it is only fair to give the newly converted men of might an opportunity to experience a valedictory service. This is a one in a lifetime experience. We can limit the number of guest they are entitled/invitations. Worse case to have service with no guest and stream online. Please consider their interest and give them a good send off while taking the necessary precautions.
After five (5) very long years at the institution and w/ others schools such as: Mount Alvernia and Irwin High findin’ ways to do a ceremony, Cornwal College should definitely be able to do a graduation this year whilst still followin’ social distance protocols like they do at school.
I need to see my brothers March and put on their blazers and cross that finish line call graduation

Even though I don’t go there anymore, I would be graduating this year and I would have wanted to experience that, so I think my brothers deserve a proper departure ceremony
