Please get the 70s Hall and Oates band to play together Live at Daryl's House
I've watched the 70s incarnation of the band from footage on shows like Old Grey Whistle Test and Musikladen, and as a group they were, without a doubt, fantastic. The versions they did of songs like "She's Gone", "Abandoned Luncheonette", "Do what you want, be who you are", "Is it a star", and "Falling" are among my favourite versions of Hall and Oates songs.
Obviously personnel changes over the years, and Daryl has seen core changes to his band over the past few years, but I think with the internet phenomenon that is 'Live from Daryl's House', they should do something really special and get Eddie Zyne, Stephen Dees, Todd Sharp, and David Kent to re-join Daryl, John and saxophonist Charlie "Mr. Casual" DeChant for a performance on Daryl's show, even if it is just a one-off. If you agree. please sign my petition and hopefully, if word of mouth becomes so strong - it would be a persuasive argument for Daryl to get the band back together.
