Pokemon Go is a wildly popular game that gets many people working together to accomplish like-minded goals, people that in many other circumstances would never have interacted. We may have 3 separate teams but when certain events pop up (Raid Battles) teams come together to help take it down.
Unfortunately, a lot of the best places to do this are being taken away. As the days grow shorter, parks close sooner and sooner. This eliminates many opportunities we have to beat raids that are highly beneficial to our rosters of Pokemon. We understand the rules and regulations of parks in the area closing shortly after sunset. We are not trying to cause any sort of problem , we just want to get in, beat the raid, and then leave. We have no intention of doing anything beyond that, with no danger to anyone or the park itself. All we are asking for is the opportunity to get out and "catch them all".
Everyone agrees to follow the rules and conduct set forth by this deal and anyone found taking advantage of the situation by using the access for reasons other than previously stated will be immediately removed from the allowed group. We have every intention of policing that ourselves as much as possible, as we all know one bad apple can spoil the bunch. We just want to play a game and are willing to discuss different scenarios that may allow that, including providing community service within the parks we are granted access to, volunteering to help keep them clean for everyone. There are many possible options but we would be willing to show our appreciation a manner agreed upon by everyone.

I have been reading your messages about the raids and it is clear that many of us just want a safe place to play after work. I am currently working on a proposal to present to the parks department to see if we can secure even limited access for these events. We have a good plan to keep the grounds clean and quiet if they allow us back in.

Seeing this kind of momentum confirms that I am not the only one who misses these late evenings in the park. It is heartening to know that so many of you share my love for this community and our local raid spots.

This is a great game that has actually brought us closer as a family giving us common ground with our teenage sons. Please help us continue playing through the long winter months.
We will moderate each other. We do this out of good intent for the community and it’s community recreational values.

my kids love going out and playing this together on weekends. would be awesome to have a little more time to get these raids done before it gets too dark.
