At Poly Prep Country Day School in Dyker Heights, New York the middle school girls are not allowed to wear leggings. A lot of the middle school girls struggle with this dress code because they are so accustomed to wearing leggings. Leggings are generally more comfortable and do not bother girls throughout the school day. But, the school calls them a "form of athletic wear" and that they also say that they are "too tight." A lot of girls complain saying their jeans are "uncomfortable" and "make them look fat" this is an unacceptable way to think during the school day.
