The vision is a new permanent home for the The Portrait of a Warrior Memorial Art Gallery (POWMAG inc). We are requesting the State of Texas Donate, Lease or make available the Baytown Texas National Guard Armory at 111 W. Wye Dr. Baytown TX. 77521. Please help us by signing our petition to make it the permanent home for the gallery.
As you step into the gallery, you are greeted by the sons and daughters of
America. The fallen heroes hang as a memorial of their unselfish gift to us all
as they gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
Their eyes follow you as you stroll gazing at the paintings in which the
artist has meticulously portrayed their lives. They were husbands, wives,
brothers, sisters, and brave warriors who laid down their lives as they took
their oath to defend the freedom we all know and love.
Ken "The Dauber" Pridgeon has made it his mission to paint a portrait of
these men and women we know as heroes. Each family of the fallen heroes is then
given a print as his way of honoring their loved one.
So many families have already received a portrait of their loved one, yet
there are many more to be painted. It is through the generous support of others
that help the artist and gallery continue to memorialize our service men and
women.

POWMAG inc. is a non-profit organization as approved by the I.R.S under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986.
The building will have assigned office and conference rooms for the VFW, The American Legion, PTSD Foundation and our Veterans Helping Veterans programs, also Lee College and their Vet programs.
Also our goal is to give our Vets a place where they can be comfortable with each other and get their courage back and accomplish some of their goals that they have given up on.

I have been lucky to survive my time in war and will never need to memorialized on a monument. But I was and I am lucky only because of the sacrifice of my friends and brothers in the military. God bless you and your work. Press on...
Please donate the Texas National Guard Armory so that it can be upgraded and used a s a memorial to our Texas Vets who have made the ultimate sacrifice. Thanks, Steve Shenk
ken pridgeon is a great man doing god's work. his portraits are a selfless token of gratitude to the families of those who died fighting for our freedom. his cause is noble and worthy, and he more than deserves for the former baytown texas national guard armory at 111 w. wye drive to be donated, leased, or otherwise made available to him.
This man lives for our Heros. He deserves a place where he can continue to do so. Moreover; our Heros deserve to be memorialized. This request is more about having a home for the memorials than anything else.
My only son, Sgt. Jose Luis Saenz III made the ultimate sacrifice 8-9-10, after serving 8yrs with USMC which he loved. I ask you please consider Donating this building in honor of all Texas men & women who have given their lives for their country.

It makes me do proud to know that my precious son stands remembered beside soo many others in Ken's gallery. Let's do this simple thing to help Ken and our Texan soldiers get a home we can all be proud of. They've earned it!!
