Final supporters
Alas! The beloved original UK Primeval has chased its last dino. But there is hope on the horizon, with the Vancouver-set-and-shot spinoff Primeval: New World set to air in Canada, Germany, Franceand the UK late this year/early next.
Sadly for US fans, we've not heard anything yet about a US distributor picking up the show. Both BBC America and Syfy have aired the original in previous years, yet there's no indication yet that either channel is considering this new installment. Cue uncontrollable fan sobbing.
What are they waiting for? We're not sure. But we do hope a petition might help. Petition drives are pretty useless for saving a show that's already dying in the ratings, but in terms of showing that there's a huge potential market for something new? That can help.
So, here it is:
Dear programming folks at Syfy and BBC America,
We US fans of Primeval are mourning the loss of our beloved show, andwould dearly like to seeits new Canadian spinoff. Pleasepleaseplease would one of you consider picking it up? Don't make us have to sic a baby raptor on you. That would get messy.

I just saw the ticker inching toward that five hundred mark and honestly if we can just push past that milestone it might actually get someone to stop scrolling and look at this thing. It feels like we are barely scratching the surface of what people who miss the show can do so let us just blast this out until the networks notice we are waiting here.

I honestly cannot believe how quickly this is moving and honestly my brain is just spinning thinking about all of you actually wanting to bring these dinosaurs to our screens. It felt like such a long shot when I first typed this up at my desk because who listens to some random fan anyway but here we are and the energy is just incredible.

I was just looking at the counter and we are hovering right near that big one hundred mark which feels like a real step forward even if it is just a drop in the ocean of what we need. Please nudge someone you know to click the link because if we show real movement now it makes it so much harder for the networks to keep ignoring our dinosaur obsession.

Just put it on netflix or something if syndication is a problem. I will watch it either way but I want it on my tv!
BIG fan of the original series. Syfy really needs to stop playing with our emotions and just air the new one. Cmon guys.

Hello ! My name's Maxime GUILLAUME. I'm a great fan of Primeval and its spin-off << Primeval : New World >>. I want to see another season of these series. However, I put some recomendations to the producers. First, I want they reput the terror bird, the pteranodon and the albertosaurus, because they became a familiar icon in this spin-off. Then, I want to see creatures from diferents eras and not only in the age of dinosaurs (like they do in the series 4 and 5 of the original Primeval). And that is all ! Thank you to answer that comment.
