We as citizens and/or rental property owners in Grand Forks would like to express our opposition to the ordinance prohibiting housing discrimination as it relates to sexual orientation and gender identity. We want you to know that many people in Grand Forks believe that an individual's sexual orientation or gender identity (if different from a person's biological makeup) is a choice, not genetic, and that such a law would be an infringement upon some individuals' freedom of conscience and/or religious practices.
Please understand that this proposed ordinance was previously rejected by the legislature in the State of North Dakota. If this ordinance comes up for further discussion in the City Council of Grand Forks, we whose names are on the list below would urge you to vote against such an ordinance in the city of Grand Forks.

Finally someone said it. The state already looked at this and said no. Why is the city trying to push it through anyway? Leave landlords alone.
VOTE NO. this is just wrong and goes against my religious beliefs. dont force this on us.

its my property and i should be the one to decide who lives there. government needs to quit overreaching into our private business.
