To the occupiers of Providence Mill,

Some of you will have received recent letters from Regent Management regarding both the proposed external redecoration of the building and the charges to current occupiers for the shortfall in accounts since 2007. I assume there are many of you who have not lived in the building since 2007 and feel it is unfair to charge, in some case up to an additional £790 on top of our usual service charge, to cover deficits for a time you did not live here. This is whilst proposing unnecessary external redecoration of the building of which costs would cover this deficit. If you too are unhappy about this and agree with the below, please sign this petition, which will be sent to Regent Management to show our collective concern.

We, the undersigned occupiers of Providence Mill, are concerned about the recent proposed external redecoration of the building, whilst a shortfall in the accounts are being charged to tenants, many of who did not live in the building at the time of the costs incurred. We propose that the external redecoration does not take place this year (or next if necessary) and that these allocated funds go towards clearing this account deficit, instead of the cost being passed to the occupiers of Providence Mill
