Publish the Five Way Agreement
To The Scottish Football Association We the undersigned believe that, in the interest of transparency, the “Five Way Agreement” that allowed NewCo Rangers into Scottish football should now be published. Recent revelations strongly indicate that Craig Whyte was an integral part of the purchase of Rangers’ asset from Duff & Phelps last summer. Subsequently this would appear to be in contravention of the “Five Way Agreement” between the SFA, SFL, SPL, Duff & Phelps and the Charles Green consortium. The Chief Executive of the SFA Mr Stewart Regan makes much of the new “transparency” that he claims to have brought to the workings of the association. If there is nothing to hide then why hide anything? The people who are the lifeblood of the national game deserve to know if the three ruling bodies were duped last summer into allowing Sevco 5088 into Scottish football to trade as Rangers. Therefore we believe that it can no longer be justified to continue to refuse to publish the Five Way Agreement.
