Our turn of the century home went to auction and was sold. We are reaching out to the third party to rescind this Aug 6th sale via this petition and inundating them with character references.
Our home is a funky, living, breathing part of Houston's Historic Heights Community. Our four large rescued dogs only know 519 Railey St as their home. We have pets buried in our yard. My childhood stamp collection, coins from all of my travels, tickets stubs from all the shows Trevi and I have been to since we met 20 years ago. We have no children so we planned to Will our home to a not for profit business and we will still honor that agreement to someone with big guns to fight with us.

We are grinding toward the first hundred signatures and the cowards who sold our home out from under us are definitely watching. Do not let this momentum die now because we need to hit that milestone to show them we are not going anywhere.

Becky and Trevi are not only old friends of mine, but important members of the heights community. All of the movie nights in the yard, and bike rides to white linen night...this family must be allowed to stay in their home, as they are an anchor of the community and one of the many things that makes the heights so special!
This home is an incredible hub for the art and music community. The couple who live there are generous and giving. Take a moment to help them because in a reverse situation they would help you.
I can’t express how heartbreaking this all is. You two are a living embodiment of everything good, kind, and wonderful about Houston. To see your lovely home ripped out from under you is unconscionable and cruel. Save the manor and save a piece of Houston’s soul.
This home and owners are institutions in the neighborhood- they diligently tried to keep the auction from happening, but unbeknownst to them, their lawyer was inept. Becky and Trevi are wonderful, generous, talented people. Please rethink this and find a way possible for them to stay. Thank you
Railey Manor is home to two if my favorite people and 4 of my favorite dogs. Becky and Trevi Biles have put their heart and soul into their home - and regularly into their community, as well. They should not be punished for the failings of their legal counsel. They should be allowed to keep their home.
I have known Trevi since he was born and his wife since they were married, My wife and I attended their wedding and loved every minute of it. If any couple deserves to continue living in the Heights, it is Trevi and Becky. Please support them and help them maintain the house they have lived in for so long and made into a home. They are a blessing to all they come in contact with and are a powerful addition to their neighborhood. Bill DeGeorge, a life-long friend.
This is not just a house, it’s a home. Trevi and Becky are active members of the Houston music and art community. They are also business owners and Trevi a teacher. This home is uniquely theirs- every inch being decorated and cared for with love. Their contributions to the community mean they deserve to keep what is rightfully theirs. The Heights is turning into an unrecognizable place. Citified to an ugly extreme. This house has the history and character that needs to remain.
