The closure of the duke of clarence has effected so many people around and out of the community. To so many people it wasn't just a pub but it was history. So many people met here and are happily married from this pub my parents being one of them. It was one of the only pubs that was highly respected. No trouble here lots of custom and lots of teams went from this pub. Now that it has closed the community have all split to find separate locals to drink in where as the duke was the place they could all be together. This would make a huge difference in everyones daily lifestyles if SA Brain would reopen it. People should sign this becaue losing this particular pub has effected so many people and the convienience of it being here. You dont have many family pubs like this was woth all the benefits it had around anymore. Everyone enjoyed coming here , even for a spot of lunch and just to mention the amount of trade that is being lost. It very heartbreaking for this pub to go forever. Please help save the duke of clarence and get it reopened.
