We are fan club of Indian Historical Shows which describes life journey of famous ancient leaders of Indian History – Acharya Chankaya and The King Chandragupta Maurya.

About The Show
Sir, I want to brief you about my request regarding resume of the TV serial ‘Chandragupta Maurya’. This show describes the whole journey of Chandragupta Maurya life starting from his childhood, that how The Great Acharya Chankya recognize a leader in the poor boy Chandragupta and decided to train him and make as strong as to fight every evil of the present days of the then country Maghadh. This show carries very good message about Chankya biography, his strict life style and his contribution in Indian politics. This show was very courageous Indian history show, as to how a poor child become a King and win every fight with his dedication, discipline and teaching of his Acharya Chankya. Fortunately you will feel great to know that a large number of youth has appreciated the show and hence we connected to each other on the facebook page ‘Save CGM’. It was telecasted on the Imagine Channel owned by the foreign company Turner Broadcasting. This show has been produced and directed by the famous House “Sagar Arts” of Shri Ramanand Sagar – maker of Shri Krishan and Ramayana shows.

Closure of the Show
Sir, In May, 2012 this show had been closed because the channel “Imagine” in which this show telecast, was aired off by its owner Turner Group. We tried our best to know the reasons but could not establish contacts with either Sagar Arts or Turner Group. We had written lot of emails, posted letters but no reply from both the organizations. After a year we heard that Sony Entertainment channel will show this ‘Show’ but never declare the date and later denied to telecast the show. Sir we do not know what were the reasons of conflicts between Production house and Turner Broadcasting Company. No top brass officials of Production House like to know about desperateness and eagerness of fans of the Chandragupta Maurya Show.

Sir, to make them aware about our love for the show we organized candle light march in Delhi (Jantar Mantar), Calcutta, Bangalore, Mumbai – where lead star of the show also participated in the Rally namely Mr. Manish Wadhwa (Chankya), Mr.Sooraj Thapar (Dhananand), Mr. Ashish (Chandragupta Maurya), but unfortunately nobody had joined us from Production house. Sir, we had also organized a grand Ganpati Puja at Mumbai and Blood Donation Camp at Delhi with a great success.

Revival of the Show
Sir, after a long wait very fortunately we get a Government of ours choice or we can say a Government which India really needs. Sir we have heard that Modi Sir and you are also keen to introduce Geeta and Ramayna’s teaching in the school syllabus. It is really a great step. I feeling very good that our coming generation will be in touch with our real values. Sir the best way of education is TV programmes, and this show is a very educational show in regard to moral education which is utmost requirement of current generation. Our last and only hope is from the present Government. We are sure that you will take step in this regard as youth and children easily learn good things from TV and films, so this is the best way to let them know about our glorious history and great personalities. Sir, we all humbly request you to please take the matter seriously, and initiate the talks with the production house “Sagar Arts”. If this production house is not interested than The Hon’ble Minister Sir can invite other potential production houses for the project like BR Chopra Production house – the maker of the Mahabharata. I would also like to mention here that this is an historical serial with a Hindu identity and it needs lots of research and art in making of the show which can be expect by Sagar Arts or BR Chopra houses. No other Production house can justify with the subject. You may be aware that there are lots of serial are coming on different channels about historical personalities but none can catch the audience.
