Dear Red Star Parent

Red Star has experienced remarkable growth in two years, growing from two to 22 club teams and over 245 competitive youth soccer players. Over 58% of these participants are from Los Altos.  It has been a great disappointment that in spite of these growing numbers involving a majority of players from Los Altos that the Los Altos School District has not allocated ANY field space to Red Star for our children’s practice and games this Fall.

We as a local resident eligible to attend LASD are shocked at this lack of fair and equitable treatment regarding use of these public facilities.  Other organizations with a much smaller % of LASD residents (and maybe less than 50%) get priority and access to LASD public facilities. With Red Star's local population, we are certainly entitled to receive equitable access as well.

I have added my name to this petition in order to express my opposition to the current field allocation practice and request a written response from LASD providing a resolution that demonstrates a fair and equitable allocation of Los Altos public facilities among all users.
