The 1992 Australian Cast Concert Tour of Jesus Christ Superstar was a phenomenal success with fans of stage and the artists involved. To date, the only keepsake fans have had of this production is the Official Cast Recording CD which at the time, debut at #1 and remained at #1 for 10 weeks (4× Platinum). It also went on to be awarded 'Highest Selling Album' at the 1993 ARIA Awards.

Concert footage of several tracks have made their way onto youtube in an unofficial capacity. Fans are eager for the entire film to be released in DVD, Blu-ray formats or if the last resort, digital or cinema release.

Polydor Music released the cast album (which is a label controlled by Universal Music). Please sign the petition to show Universal that a film release is a guaranteed seller and will preserve and celebrate a successful production that has yet to be matched in this country.
