Ringgold School board requires students to complete assignments on Study Sync close to every day we are in session. This repetitiveness becomes boring and makes it harder for students to learn. In cooperation with the school board, and the Ringgold students, we would like to make a change to cut back on the use of Study Sync in the classrooms in exchange for other, alternate assignments that will boost students attention span and make them more likely to pay attention to their school work.

As a senior at Ringgold High School, with good grades their whole life, I have never struggled until this year when we were required to complete Study Sync assignments every day in class. I rarely fell behind in courses, but this change made it hard for me to stay motivated to do my work. The repition became boring, and offered no uniqueness per student. Each student works differently, at their own pace, and work better to different assignments. Offering Study Sync as an alternate assignment would work for those students who do enjoy it, but not as an every day, every assignment deal.
