At the last School Board Meeting on March 8th, the NHP-GCP Board of Education agreed to add a transportation proposition that would change the current school district policy regarding bussing. If passed, transportation would only be provided for students who live 1.5 miles from school.

This proposition will virtually eliminate ALL GENERAL EDUCATION BUSSING at all four of our NHP-GCP elementary schools.

Now is NOT the time to REMOVE SERVICES from hard-working families in our community who are doing their best make it through the COVID-19 pandemic.

Efforts should be made to IMPROVE our children's education during these challenging times through an EXPANSION of WRAP-AROUND SERVICES IN SCHOOLS, such as morning care & transportation.

This is NOT the way we should be SAVING money. It will negatively impact hard-working parents and further complicate drop-off at our elementary schools. The additional cars will cause more traffic in the community making it unsafe for our little ones.

By signing below, you agree to VOTE AGAINST this proposition on May 18th. This petition will be presented at the next School Board meeting.
