In honor of his significant contributions to CAHEP, we propose naming the CAHEP Early Career Workshop the Les Goodchild Early Career Workshop and utilizing the significant gift provided by Mrs. Wynn Goodchild toward scholarships for Goodchild Early Career Workshop participant scholarships.

Dr. Les Goodchild has contributed significantly to the history and success of CAHEP. He was one of the members of the 1994 Steering Committee to propose CAHEP and had devoted his full support to the organization. He served as the CAHEP chair from 1997 to 2000. He developed the Early Career Workshop as well as the Townsend Lecture.
